We are just a little over two hours north of York, Maine thirty minutes south of Bangor, off exit 157 in Newport, Maine.

Civil Engineering
Plymouth Engineering serves a wide range of clients in the private, commercial, industrial, governmental and institutional arenas. Areas of design include site development, infrastructure, storm water management, roadways, solid waste transfer stations and recreational sites. We specialize in maximizing the use of the project site while minimizing the need for special engineering measures. Improvement of aging infrastructure has been another area of specialization in the recent years of difficult funding. We emphazise team-based design creation with the client being an important part of the team to ensure meeting project objectives
Environmental Services:
Plymouth Engineering staff members come from a diverse background of general civil engineering. Our staff has provided these services for a variety of private, commercial, industrial and municipal entities. Members of our staff are registered in Maine, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Vermont. We work in conjunction with state agencies, remediation contractors, and site owners to provide efficient, cost-effective environmental services. These services coincide well with the civil/site and structural engineering capabilities, as well as with the permitting services that we provide. Services include Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Oil Spill Control and Countermeasures Plans and NPDES Storm Water Management Plans.
Working throughout New England on a variety of development and rehabilitation projects, our firm has performed extensive amounts of environmental permitting on the local, state and federal levels. We provide local Planning Board support, ME DEP Storm Water, NRPA and Site Law permitting. We provide State Fire Marshal permitting for above ground tank farms.
Plymouth Engineering has provided building design services to a wide variety of clients in both the public and private sectors. Our building design projects have included typical buildings such as municipal facilities, sand/salt storage structures, churches, schools and office buildings, medical facilities, shopping centers, restaurants, apartment complexes, condominiums, and warehouses.
Design/build contractors, as well as developers, have found efficient and cost-effective structural engineering at Plymouth Engineering. Services range from engineering support for contractor shop drawings and plow fram racks to heavy municipal bridge structure rehabilitation and aluminum .
Third Party Inspectors:
Plymouth Engineering has staff that are certified by the State of Maine as Third Party Inspectors for the Maine Uniform Building and Energy Code (MUBEC). Our staff has provided inspection services in various municipalities on projects ranging from apartment buildings to seafood processing plants.
